Project Details
The North Cumberland Memorial Hospital was built in the 1960s and has served the area since. In its quest to modernize its healthcare system, the Province of Nova Scotia approved the construction of a new hospital directly behind the current building with a budget of $25 million. A.H. Roy provided the mechanical and electrical services for the new facility, including a nurse call system, CCTV, electric vehicle chargers, medical gas system, rainwater storage, seismic protection for essential systems, and a geothermal heating system coupled with in-floor heating.
