Daniel started a five-year career in the forest industry after graduating from the Maritime Forest Ranger School in Fredericton in 2000. He then switched to electrical engineering in 2005, earning a diploma in electrical engineering technology with a specialization in renewable energy at NBCC Moncton. After completing the required work experience, Daniel is eligible for the Certified Engineering Technologist (CET) designation.
Daniel continued his engineering studies and attained his degree upon graduating from Lakehead University with a Bachelors of Engineering. He garnered his Professional Engineering (P. Eng.) designation in Spring 2016.
